How to Get Your Driver’s License in California (for teens):

1. Pass the Driver’s Ed Course
   Complete your online course and get your certificate of completion. (FREE)

2. Pass the Written Test at the DMV
   Schedule your appointment at the DMV and bring your certificate. Pass the test to get your permit.

3. Practice for the Written Test
   Coastline offers helpful practice questions to make sure you’re ready!

4. Take Driving Lessons
   Once you have your permit, you can book driving lessons—Coastline even offers home pick-up in most areas!

5. Pass Your Road Test
   After your lessons, schedule your road test at the DMV. Pass the test to earn your driver’s license!
