National Red Ribbon Week

National Red Ribbon Week

October 23-31, 2020 is National Red Ribbon Week. This year’s theme is “Be Happy, Be Brave, Be Drug Free”! National Red Ribbon Week is an opportunity to invite conversations with school staff, students, and parents about the importance of staying healthy and drug-free.  Although this year’s Red Ribbon Week will look differently than past years due to current circumstances and distance learning, we wanted to share some upcoming virtual events available:

·  Parent Conference: Enriching the Learning Experience (Tobacco Use Prevention Education (TUPE) will have a Vaping 101 workshop in English & Spanish)

o October 17 & 24,  2020, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Register Here: https://bit.ly/33bE5N6

As we partner with the Tobacco Use Prevention Education (TUPE) program this year, we will be continuing to communicate resources and awareness to our community.  You are also invited to visit the TUPE Website: https://tupe.sccoe.org/home/Pages/default.aspx which includes cessation/quit resources, how to talk to your child about vaping or cannabis, and other useful resources for parents.
