Graduation Requirements


Students shall receive diplomas of graduation from high school only after completing the prescribed course of study and meeting the proficiency standards established by the District.

The prescribed course of study for students shall include the following: (Education Code 51225.3)

Graduation Requirements (Class of 2018 and 2019)

 

  • 4 Years English
  • 2 years Math (must pass Integrated Math 1)
  • 2 years Science
    • 1 year Biological
    • 1 year Physical
  • 3 years Social Science
  • 2 years PE (9th grade State Requirement/Health)
  • 3 years (2 out of 3 categories)
    • Fine Arts
    • Applied Arts
    • Foreign Language

 

 

TOTAL UNITS NEEDED FOR GRADUATION = 220

 

Graduation requirements for class of 2020

 

  • 4 Years English
  • 3 years Math (must pass Integrated Math 1)
  • 2 years Science
    • 1 year Biological
    • 1 year Physical
  • 3 years Social Science
  • 2 years PE (9th grade State Requirement/Health)
  • 2 years World Language
  • 1 year of Visual or Performing Arts
  • 1 year of Applied Arts or Career Technical Education (CTE)

 

TOTAL UNITS NEEDED FOR GRADUATION = 220

 

Graduation requirements for class of 2021 and following graduation classes

 

  • 4 Years English
  • 3 years Math (must pass Integrated Math 1)
  • 3 years Science
    • 1 year Biological
    • 1 year Physical
  • 3 years Social Science
  • 2 years PE (9th grade State Requirement/Health)
  • 2 years World Language
  • 1 year of Visual or Performing Arts
  • 1 year of Applied Arts or Career Technical Education (CTE)
